John H. Bailey

John is a native of the beautiful Cache Valley. Over the past fifteen years he has been involved primarily in family law matters as well as considerable work in personal injury, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. John also represents clients in many other areas of the law, including contracts, land disputes, landlord tenant issues, wills and estates, guardianships, etc. John has considerable court experience, having appeared in nearly every state court from St. George, Utah to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Tyler K. Olson

Tyler works out of our Preston Idaho office serving clients throughout southeastern Idaho. He provides counsel in a variety of legal areas, including adoption, divorce, business law, wills, trusts, probate, criminal defense, real estate and water law. Tyler welcomes clients with other general legal needs and is able to assist those who speak Spanish.

Prior to law school, Tyler spent time in England and Chile finishing an International MBA. He then worked for three years as an economist and contract specialist with the Bureau of Reclamation. During law school, Tyler clerked for prosecutors in Cache County and briefly for the Snake River Basin Adjudication Court.

Tyler lives with his wife and five children on the family farm and enjoys sports, hunting, and supporting his local community.

Rob’s law practice focuses on estates, trusts, wills and probate with emphasis on farm and ranch estate planning. He provides counsel on succession planning to pass the ranch or family business to the next generation. Rob’s experience also includes estate litigation and representing trustees in trust administration, guardianships and conservatorships, real estate, business law, and creating corporations and limited liability companies.

Rob comes from a ranching background and is still involved in production agriculture and producer groups.

Jonathan P. Thomas

Jonathan’s practice focuses on families and children, individuals’ and business’ livelihoods, and criminal law – first as a part-time deputy county attorney and now as a defense attorney.

Besides a commitment to understanding a client’s overall situation and desired outcomes, Jonathan uses his experience to consistently provide thorough and zealous advocacy for his clients. Whether through litigation or negotiation, this experience offers a perspective of balance and options, risk versus reward, so a plan for practical outcome can be made and implemented.

Jonathan was born and raised in Logan, Utah, and continues to live in Cache Valley with his wife Stephanie and they plan to raise their family here.

Chris Daines

Since 1981 Chris has been continuously helping clients achieve their goals and fighting for their interests in three areas of greatest concern: families/children; businesses/livelihoods; and homes/real estate. With three decades of experience in court, he is firm in advocacy, careful in counsel, and understanding of his clients’ desire to effectively and quickly resolve conflicts.

Chris has lived in South America, Europe, Virginia, Texas, and Utah, and has worked as a bricklayer, development project analyst, professor of business law, and healthcare practice consultant. He is conversant in Spanish, and enjoys writing poetry, playing basketball, hiking, and studying history. Chris is the third in an unbroken line of four generations of lawyers.

Chris and his wife, Michelle (a retired teacher) have five grown children, four wonderful children-in-law, and twelve fabulous grandchildren.
